description
T-3 MELAMINE Having a Barcol hardness of 64-72, T-3 Melamine is the most aggressive, fast blasting media we offer. It may be used with great effectiveness for a wide array of cleaning and stripping requirements and is a useful substitute for other harsh abrasives such as glass beads. You can expect the best results using T-3 for the removal of stubborn primers, paints, hydrocarbon deposits, other hard materials on molds, steel, iron, and engines.
features
- Blasting without roughening or deformation of the surface, without generating heat (that can warp, marr, or pitt surfaces)
- Very little expenditure of time (because of sharp particles the surfaces are finished very fast particularly if pressure blasting cabinets are used)
- Chemically inert, therefore no harm to health or environment
applications
- Steel- and chromed molds of the rubber and plastic industry
- Aluminum- and steel molds of the foam plastic industry
- Electronic parts and components, Semi Conductor
- Engine parts and brake linings
- Composite parts
- Parts and components of automobiles
- Fiberglass, copper/brass, plastic/rubber
