description
SolVantage® Flush is a precision vapor degreasing solvent mixture of 1,2 trans-dichloroethylene and proprietary fluorinated solvents, it does not contain any HFC. This solvent blend is perfectly suited for vapor degreasing in modern equipment and general cleaning. It’s solvency for hydrocarbon soils is exceptional when used in vapor, vapor/spray or immersion vapor degreasing systems. With a KB value of 94, it can reliably replace other cleaning solvents such as n-propyl bromide (nPB), trichloroethylene (TCE), 3M Novec®, and Chemours Vertrel®. Flush can also be used for debinding 3D metal printed components prior to sintering or as a carrier fluid for deposition of materials such as silicone and other lubricants. SolVantage Flush is non-corrosive and non-staining to a wide variety of substrates. Some selected categories of materials compatible with SolVantage Flush include*: Most polymers and elastomers typically encountered during cleaning and vapor degreasing of precision parts, electronics, etc. Copper, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium and other metals commonly used in precision parts manufacturing • Polyethylene • Polyvinylchloride (PVC, CPVC) • Polyester (PET, BET) • Polyimide (PI, PEI, PAI) • Polyetherketone (PEK) • Polyaryletherketone (PEEK) • Polyarylsulfone (PAS) • Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) • Polypropylene • Acetal • Epoxy • PTFE, Teflon • Polysulfone (PSO) • Phenolic • Ionomer • EPDM INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS: Polystyrene, Polyphenylene Oxide (PPO), Polycarbonate, ABS, Epichlorohydrin, Silicone, Natural Rubber, Acrylic SolVantage Flush removes a wide range of organic soils. Some categories of soils that can be removed with SolVantage Flush include*: Buffing compounds • Corrosion Inhibiting Compounds (CICs) • Greases • Hydraulic Fluids • Oils (Drawing, Silicone) • Particulate • Metalworking Fluids: Water Soluble, Straight Oil and Synthetic • Krytox • FPI Fluid *Material compatibility should always be confirmed via testing with specific contaminants under specific cleaning conditions.
